Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-Acupuncture is also known as e-stim. This method introduces a mild stimulation of electric current directly attached to the acupuncture needle by securing leads and provides a prolonged manipulation of the needles for some conditions. In this method, it is easier to control the frequency and the amount of stimulation for individuals with specific conditions.

The advantage of Electro-Acupuncture is in its ability to address pain and orthopedic conditions with faster and prolonged results. The type of current used can address the healing response through increased ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production in tissue.  Electro-Acupuncture addresses a cascade of tissue repair and stimulates nerve interventions relative to locations of pain. It can help control pain, reduce inflammation, restore somatic and autonomic functions (sensory awareness of pain), and help regenerate overall.
